Amber Oberheim

Founder & President

“It is time to start celebrating heroes and stop victimizing felons.”

Amber Oberheim is the President and Founder of Peacemaker Project 703. Amber is the wife of Officer Chris Oberheim. Only days after her husband’s life was taken in the line of duty, she developed a strong, restless desire to support Chris’s brothers and sisters in uniform. Her vision became a reality with assistance from the resourceful people who support her. Amber’s strong faith allows her to move forward with her God-serving mission in honor of her husband.

Amber completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mennonite College of Nursing in 1998 and her Master of Science in Public Health Nursing from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2004. She is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has a passion for helping others. She is a very loved and well-respected leader. She values her team and fosters a family atmosphere to strengthen relationships within her clinic.

“In a world that seems stacked against you, choosing to be silent has more consequences than choosing to speak up.”

“I back the blue AND stand against racism. In case you were wondering, you CAN do both.”
